SMA rooftops

San Miguel is famous for, among other things, fantastic rooftops with incredible views of the city. Many homes, including ours, enjoy an amazing rooftop with views, wonderful sunsets, and really our favorite time of day to go up and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the city transform at dusk into sunset colors and twinkling lights. We've also enjoyed many restaurant and bar rooftops across the city - some very casual with great views, some very fancy high-end. A recent discovery and now current favorite at the high-end is Tunki, which is part of the Belmond Hotel on Hospicio. The rooftop bar is actually around the corner on Recreo, at an unmarked location.... really intended primarily for hotel guests. The view is very close up to the Parroquia and absolutely amazing. Small, intimate, classy, and with fantastic cocktails. One of many rooftop delights in San Miguel. There are so many more that we look forward to trying!
